HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE MY FLIGHT?  
 

Scheduling can be done up to thirty minutes before takeoff depending on availability. Boomerang is an on-demand charter service with aircraft and crew on standby for your convenience, however, the further ahead your flight is scheduled, the higher the likelyhood the aircraft is available.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE A FLIGHT WITH BOOMERANG?  

Please contact a Boomerang representative at (913)422-0411 and have available the specifics of your requested trip. Boomerang will check the availability and upon confirmation, fax a personalized itinerary.

DOES BOOMERANG ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?  

No. Boomerang will collect twenty percent by check or by cash prior to the flight as a deposit with the remainder due upon receipt of invoice unless prior arrangements have been approved.

HOW MUCH LUGGAGE CAN I BRING ON MY FLIGHT?  

Luggage size and weight will be determined prior to each flight depending on variables including the number of passengers and length of trip for fuel requirements. Please call for an approximation prior to departure.

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO BE AT THE AIRPORT BEFORE TAKEOFF?  

Boomerang is there for you and will depart on your schedule. Typically, arrive a few minutes before planned departure to give the crew time to load the aircraft and complete any necessary pre-flight paperwork. Should your departure time change, please contact us immediately so that we can make flight plan adjustments.

WHERE DO I MEET THE AIRPLANE BEFORE A FLIGHT?  

Boomerang is based out of Johnson County Executive Airport in Olathe, Kansas, but can be repositioned to the airport of your choice. Passengers will be greeted by the Director of Aviation in the lobby of the general aviation terminal.

WHAT DOES FAA 135 CERTIFICATION MEAN?  

135 Certification requires frequent aircraft maintenance responsibilities, continuing crew education and flight competency checks, random safety and equipment inspections, and monitored crew duty and rest periods.
